I would have been for immigration, but when I moved to San Antonio I couldn't believe how racist mexicans here are toward other nationalities, including other hispanics.

Looks like the democrats will be in control for a long time to come. As a California resident, I can look forward to living in Mexico without having to move! And just when I thought our politicians couldn't get any worse, wait until we get mexican-style corruption. I wonder if the drug-lords will be nicer than the current street thugs?

At least mega-corps get some cheap labor while my taxes pay for ever increasing social services. Bad news for most Americans, unless of course you are a democrat or very very wealthy.

Illegal immigration won't affect politics in 20 years. By that time, either the smart ones would self-deport, get in line, do the paperwork and become legal immigrants or the stupid ones will resist and be deported and have their butts kicked back home and won't be allowed to come back ever again. The U.S. is slowly beginning to arm against illegal immigration of all kinds and show that in this case, state's rights has a huge edge over the federal government. My hats off to all the cities and states that have enforced their law to keep our country safe. Thanks!

Don't let Mexican racists get in the way of that because you know the issue is not only about Mexicans, and not all Mexicans are racist.

But I think it will affect politics in the future, in a good way.

I live in the Ausin area...I know what you are talking about. Anyone who refuses to get a job, learn the language of the land (ENGLISH), and expect those of us here to pay for EVERYTHING....they are very welcome to leave as fast as we can get them out of here.

Hopefully they will all be deported soon and we will never have to deal with criminal illegal aliens, or their anchor babies again.

Maybe they'll force current Americans who don't work hard to get off of their tails.

My point is that the illegals are known to be hard workers.
