I've never given atheists a hard time. Personally, it's no business of mine if they want to believe one thing and not another. I don't hide the fact that I go to church and participate in my church. So, if there are any atheists who are my friends, they know all they have to do is ask, and I'd be happy to talk with them about religion and why I believe the things I do. Otherwise, any effort I would make to explain what I believe is counterproductive. It's ridiculous for anyone to try to persuade someone with a closed mind. I know that everyone has a different understanding of religion, God, and the world. Who am I to say that their ideas aren't as valid as mine?? If death ends up being permanent and I don't have an afterlife, well, then, the joke's on me, isn't it?

Well the religion of Christianity teaches the people to bring others to Christ. So I dont think its necessarily that the Christians dont like altheists or want to give them a hard time its tht they are trying to convert atheists. But I understand what you mean. Most Christians dont exactly know how to approach someone when talking to them about Christ. And some are just harsh, there many different ways to aproach someone. But if this happens to you again, please be patient not all Christians are this way, and they only want to see people get to heaven to have the best life.

I don't know why you think that all Christians do this ... I'm a Catholic, I'm a Christian, and frankly I see NOTHING WRONG with your 'belief system' ... and I will, in fact, DEFEND YOU and your beliefs. Okay, I do 'believe' that 'in the end' we are ALL going to 'Heaven' (God's universe) ... and if I'm correct, I'll see you there. If not ... have a 'happy life' and stop 'worrying so much' about what some Christians 'give you a hard time about' ... it's really NOT WORTH IT! Go out, have fun, play hard, and LEARN your whole life ... and 'be good' if you can. I don't think that is 'too difficult' for you to do, is it?

I try not to...I see them as any other person. If a fellow Christian gets on my nerves or makes me angry(which is hard, very hard, to do) then I'll go off on them..for anyreason.
I doubt a Christian will criticize me for my faith...but the same goes for anyone. If they talk down to me or try to upset me...they just need to beware of what will come to them...

It's our job. Like "no child left behind" is supposed to be the job of the teacher.
Like the Doctor's job is to do anything he can to make you stop smoking.
Like it will be government's job to stop you from driving once Global Warming get severe.
Like PETA's job to stop animal testing and fur coats.
Like nutritinalists job to stop you from eating red meat.

People are just closed minded, period. It doesn't matter if they're Christians, Atheists, etc. People never think there could be another option besides only the one that they believe in. It's just classic stupidity, unfortunately.
