we recently got a 9 week old kitten named cy, and of his many habits the one we are trying to break him of is chewing on metal. he will try to chew on rings, earrings, necklaces anything that is near him and is of shiny metal.

Kittens will chew on anything in their path! lol I have a 2 month old kitten and he likes to play with metal objects- but doesnt chew them. He is into chewing toilet paper and ear plugs though! lol He's just a baby and have a great time!

get him some toys and play with him. he may also be teething a little bit, but probably is just attracted to the shiny metal. but he will grow out of it.

Cats sometimes like shiney things. Its just play time, you might want to buy him a mouse, and if you did and he doesn't play with it, buy something else. They are all diffrent, really.
