I refuse to spend 50 dollars on a controller at circuit city or best buy or whatever to have as a back up controller if my dad gets pissed at me ( I didn't do some laundry and he takes away all my privleges, ONE LOAD OF LAUNDRY). and Ive done it now and I would like to play just a little vegas before school tomorrow. is there anyway to use a different usb device to control a game (I already have a wireless keyboard for internet/movie and music playing.) please, I need some vegas.

I bought a usb controller for my pc and it works fine in my PS3. It is made by a company called Dilong and I got it from e-bay. It is basically an un-official Playstation control with a usb connection made for the computer. It is made exactly the same as the official Playstation control. Well I had a crazy idea a couple of months ago to plug it into my PS3s second usb port and it worked. I used it to play my demo of Ninja Gaiden and had no problems. Of course you can't use it to play any of the games that require the use of the six-axis. The cost when I bought it about six months ago? $13 which included the shipping.

Depends, what do you do during the weeknight? Do you spend time with family/friends, homework, or do you say to hell with it all and spend all your time on video games regardless if the fact that you have homework and housework to do? I'm not being nasty, I'm just trying to get all the facts in. And the way I worded it was figuring your dad thinks you are spending too much time playing video games regardless of anything else. And if you spend the vast majority of your free time on games, then the answer is no, you are not grown up enough to handle it.

I think you better do what your Dad says or he'll take away the PS3 next. I do the same with my son and it's alot easier to do your chores first that way you don't have to worry about them later and you'll have PS3 freedom. Trust me on this.

I believe there are some 3rd party ps3 controllers that are around $30-$40. You could try those. Or do your chores.

Do your chores and quit complaining. You got your (actually your parents) PS3 taken away due to your own faults. Take it like a man.
