Jehovah's Witnesses have never pretended that "Jehovah" is the only acceptable spelling or pronunciation of the divine name of Almighty God. Instead, they simply note that "Jehovah" has been the most common English translation of the Tetragrammaton for hundreds of years. Witnesses of other languages typically use whatever pronunciation is best accepted in that language.
The shortened form of the divine name is generally translated as "Jah" or "Yah" in English.
