By the time a guy with the attributes that you mentioned is 31 years old, he is mature enough to know that age is less important than most other things. I don't think he is in danger of flitting off after the first pretty young pair that comes along.
Have you had a conversation with him about your age difference? Since you seem insecure about it, you might want to find out what he ACTUALLY thinks about it. That would be more honest than simply jealously suspecting him of having a roving eye, which could turn into a self fulfilling prophecy.

Think about this: if you were 31 and your boyfriend was 45, you wouldn't be asking the question because no one would bat an eyelash over the age difference!
He sounds like a great guy. Relax and enjoy it. I wish you both many many years of happiness.

It's fine... so long as you're both comfortable with it. Who cares what others think.
I have been on both ends of that spectrum in the past.
When I was 23, I was dating a 38yo woman... and when I was 34, I was in a relationship with a 20yo girl. Both were great relationships, and I would not have missed out on them for anything.

Thats not a real big age difference, especially if you look younger than you actually are. My problem has been the older women have kids and messed up past relationships where I have no kids and never married.

Ok, now you're just bragging!!! :-) Seriously, good friends of ours have been married for over 20 years and the wife is 15 years older than the husband. They are very happy.

well if you both are happy then there is no problem.. that is always a problem with dating someone younger because that is always a fear that they might leave you for someone younger. i think that if you just keep working at the relationship then you should be fine. Just make sure that you are honest with him.. let him know how you feel...

i wouldnt worry, its not reaally that big an age gap...annd it it feels right, then i say enjoy it.
my mothers friend is 47 and her boyfriend is 24, and it seems to be working fine. as long as the maturity and the love is there, it has every chance of working out

Yes it is totally ok for you two to keep going and enjoy what you have. There are ZERO sure things in this world, so why think it may go bad?

If he is happy and you are happy then there is nothing wrong with it at all.
He might have issues when he is nearing 40 but those are issues that you can work through together.
Good luck.
