no of course i wouldnt i think that is a throughtful feeling after all its equal in every respects these days, the day a man asks you out has long gone it ought to be said when the man asked a girl out they were men. today some men are cowards be put up a front to give us girls the idea that they are butch but some are weaklings.

I would get to know him better and find out if that was a slip of the tongue or if was brought up talking this way. Either way if that's the only thing wrong with him, he can't be all bad.

No. I would think he uses different terminology and maybe is from another part of the country or different country. I think most people would view being asked out as flattering.
