I think that your question asks whether we remember what we have learned here, in out next Life, if of course we are to be Reborn..
When we are Reborn, nothing of this Life's memory survives death..memory, being part of the consciousness does not survive because consciousness is a Khandha and all Khandhas are destroyed at the onset of death....this impermanence of the Khandhas is the reason why they are empty of worth and should not be clung to, as it were.
The Eightfold Path does not therefore develop any of the Khandhas...the Eightfold Path develops the Mind...it is the Mind...the real "Us" which survives death...this Mind does not remember, rather it develops with the practise which we practice...
The Noble Eightfold Path develops the 3 Characteristics of Wisdom...paññā, Morality...sila, and Mindfulness...samādhi. These characteristics rid the consciousness of Self, once rid of Self, Mind...Bhavanga Sota... remains and takes control of the consciousness Khandha allowing the Mind it's freedom...it is thus released from it's bonds and unfettered from the defilements of greed, lust and ignorance...thus unleashed it is allowed to grow and it is this growth which will be evident in the next Life, if indeed such a Rebirth is required...

Yes! Everything spiritually you need, you will learn. You may not think you will remember everything but when you need It and It is vital for your heart and minds decision making, It will be there. Alot of what we learn is pieces that we pick out of a long, long, long story. Some of the information is irrelevant, but it needs to be told in story form so that our limited minds can put it all together and understand.

We have an information overload right now. What are we required to learn and know besides the Word of God?

There is nothing you need to learn, know or remember. The Truth you seek is what You are. What would Truth need to know about itself?

Ofcourse, Jesus Christ asked us all to be like a child and always learn what the heavenly father wants to tell us. If we think we know it all, we block our spiritual growth!

We will always learn because we are interested in new information. Those who stop accepting information are usually in the Appalachian Hills.

Wether o not there will be memory in heaven, hell or purgatory is a subject of debate. If you have memory in hell, it can be an escape from pain. If you have it in heaven, dwelling on it could destroy any shred of peace or happiness within you.

I know my name.....
I know my birthday....
And I know who created me in the womb.....
And I know where I'm going when I die....
These are some of the priorities in life I suppose..........but the main one is this: What is my relationship to God? Is it through Jesus Christ alone?
Those are the 2 most important things anyone needs to learn
-Name paste (or whatever you said at the end there.....)
