There is so much you need to do before ever breeding your Golden. First, do you know that Goldens are one breed that is prone to hip dysplasia? Has your dog been certified free of dysplasia? Were her parents both certified and their parents? If not, anyone that knows anything would never even consider breeding to your dog. Reputable people do not want to risk bringing puppies into this world that would face a life of crippling pain unless thousands of dollars were spent on surgery to correct the inherited defect. I wouldn't think you would want to potentially do that to a litter of your pups? If you do find someone willing, they are not reputable and are only thinking of the money to be made. If you are willing to go ahead without all the tests and X-rays prior to breeding, then you, too, are only interested in the potential monetary gain from puppy sales. I hope you care more than that about the welfare of your dog and any puppies produced.

You can try http://www.akc.org or http://www.breeders.net

You should also wait until your female is 2 years of age and has all her clearances before breeding her. Make sure you have researched good breeding practices...it is a tough job...can be very rewarding (not financially) but a lot ....a LOT of work.

you can post to petfinder.com or in your local paper inquiring for a stud. then you can do a reference and vet check. and check his papers to see that he is registered. you can call your local akc office for a list i think.
also call some vets to see if they any owners of males that you might be able to get their # or leave messages for...
