"That's not what the Bible says" is the answer I got when I asked one.

Well, yeh. If we follow it, it works. I think the scientific method is to gather information objecively, unbiased. Does that even happen in science, when money and egos are on the line, and then test the propositions? The problem is everyone judges by all the opinions and not on what Jesus said and historical context. He's light years ahead of psychology and we'll always be learning from him when Einstein is long forgotten, if that's possible. If we can see the end from the beginning, we're the man. That doesn't mean deism isn't right, it depends on what we're talking about. Does it stand up to the scientific method as far as that explains anything? It's like religion, a billion opinions, everybodies got one. OK, what works. Not judging is the foundation of impartial judgment, absolutely followed, absolutely no opinions, just the facts, mam. Love your enemy. Ya can't hate with that one and again absolutes get absolute happiness and sanity, but don't anyone believe me, we can test it out for ourselves. I'm sure everyone will do that, being scientific and all. We don't need anyone to tell us what's right and wrong in some theory. We have the universe to test it out on. Humility: The bible is better than the dictionary, "Think no more of yourself than you have to, but think so as to have a sound mind." Try it and we know what sanity is. Ego is the main flaw in all reasoning, thinking of ourselves and our own opinions, and scientists spend a lot of time with ego and salary on the line and yet they are the most objective. Those and a study of Emotional Intelligence and intuition should put anyone on the right track. Also, Jesus summed up the whole bible and besides he's the authority over anyone on the subject. The point is that someone who purports to be telling the truth, what they say should stand up like science and have some detail, truth and spirituality, and be provable. It's the marriage of truth and love, the heart and the mind, the objective and the subjective, so much maligned. Science is based on the five senses, so called empirical evidence, but omitting the inner sense of a living being, experiencing life not just sturdying about it. That's further empirical evidence so incorrect to ignore, anything ignored at the start of an inquiry is bias. With a finger on the scale it's impossible to measure anything accurately.

I have absolutely nothing against deism. The only reason I am personally not deist is because I accept the Bible.

Of course not.

What makes you believe that anyone can prove anything about any belief?

No one can prove anything about a any religious belief. That's why they are called BELIEFS. Get it??
