Just evidence of evolution at work that the religious like to deny because it violates their comfortable misconceptions and illeducation.
Edit: Andy, don't be ridiculous. Virus' are one of the exceptions to that and you know it. You can't be that brainless to think otherwise. Virus' have many millions of generations in just 5 years.

Most species, mainly viral, microbial and insectoid have yet to be discovered and described. No need to go back to the 18th century spontaneous generation theories yet. Add to the mix what evolution produces by itself without dust fairies.
As for the new species today , you've seen nothing yet - science is hard at work.

Arguing over speciation is pointless, for no other reason than organizing animals by species is a completely arbitrary system, invented by human beings. Nature doesn't make such distinctions -- there are no tags or inscriptions on organisms that identify what category they belong to. To Nature, they're all just part of the continuum of Life.

The Bovine Bizna virus was manipulated by DOD scientists which became what we know as AIDS. Viruses mutate into nothing more than other viruses, which obviously is no proof of evolution. Thought this took millions and millions of years, hmmm??? Must be getting desperate to "prove" your silly belief system, there.

Viruses always change, they always have. This is poor proof of evolution. Get back to us when viruses change into anything other than a similar virus.
