God speaks to us with revelations, inspirations, thoughts, dreams, and sometimes a voice which cannot be heard by others so is probably not a sound at all, but is sensed as a voice, nonetheless. It happens. People can experience God this way, just like psychics experience spirits. God is spirit and can communicate with us in ways that are not of this world.

When I started writing my first book, We Who Dream, the voice woke me up very early in the morning, and I felt a strong urge to go to the computer. Three words came: "I am still." I typed them, and the book began to flow. So I started to call it "the flow". The whisper for me is a feeling around my shoulders, a warmth...words can't explain it. I feel it come, and I feel it leave after it has delivered the inspiration.
This experience with my book happened after I had been trying to write a spiritual book for years. I never could get it right, so I prayed in exasperation: "Just tell me what you want me to say, and I will write it."

NO BIBLICAL SUPPORT
===================
These are things that preachers and teachers who speak and teach things that are not there in the Bible. They will claim that "the God" or "Holy Spirit" has given them "special revalations".
We are not even supposed to think beyond that which is written - 1 Cor 4:6.

There is in all or most of us a feeling or a presence of something that is separate from us. This is often described as The Presence of God.
St. John goes hog wild in his description of this place and what it means.
I have come to think that it is a normal compensation by our complex mind to counter the loneliness and excruciating self awareness that we have because of our complex mind.

“A great and mighty wind was tearing at the mountains and was shattering cliffs before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind, there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake, there was a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire, there was a voice, a soft whisper. When Elijah heard [it], he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave”(1 Kings 19:11-13).

This passage in the Bible has always been my favorite one.
My mom once told me "G-d Loves YOU with a SHY love" How Beautiful!!!! There's another example of the Divine Whisper. I felt so bashful when mom told me that!

It was like the sweet whisper of someone who knows you who loves you deeper than deep into the untouched depths of your spirit. He said
"I AM waiting for you"
this is what He is saying to all of us, to come to Him, for He is Life, He is the manna that came from Heaven He is the Life giving water, and whosoever drinks of this living water shall never thirst.

It is the knowledge and 'awareness of being' I brought with me, and the early core certainty that has since informed every experience and choice - no matter the darkness I observed.

She stands before you naked,
when one looks for themselves.
But to be blown into the inconceivable,
takes an intent to truly know.
The wind whispers threw the the mind,
some call the trees, grasses and rivers.
Enlightenment flowers eternally,
and it comes as lite as a breeze.

I first heard the whisper when I was 10, telling me, "Daddy's dead."
I heard the whisper over the next several years, until I was in my late 20's, when the whisper kept saying my name over and over, waking me from the depths of sleep, whisper-shouting "Nancy."
I changed my name. Twice. But still the whisper continues. I cannot hide from my Source. He has a plan for me. He tells me I am His Queen.
"Nancy."
