OK ruling out the birth of my daughter, I'm going to go with support of Katrina victims in this area.
One particular family came through that was expecting, and it was right after my wife's baby shower. We had a lot of extras to give her, blankets, clothes, toys, plus some snacks and such for the children already born. Quite a coincidence how the timing all worked out. I was friends with one of the women who ran the Salvation Army, she called me up about it.
When we arrived to give what we could spare, there were other vehicles there too. One gentleman had an old beater vehicle that he gave to them outright (since it was Salvation Army he could write it off taxes), and a woman in the area that manages rental properties put them up in a place to live for free while the guy was looking for work. Plus there were others, some donating food, some old furniture, that sort of thing. The Salvation Army let them have what clothes they needed.
All in all it was a miracle to see, so many people coming together with just a few phone calls to help a family completely restart their lives after losing everything.

First, it's important to realize that "miracles" are nothing more than statistical improbabilities. As such, somebody walking out of a car accident without a scratch is no more, or less, of a miracle than somebody getting dealt a good poker hand.

I once saw a person driving an SUV slow down, make room, and signal for a tractor-trailer in the merge lane to merge in front of him.
Safiyya - If, on the other hand, your twelve year old BOY does that, it's a whole different matter that I can explain in an email if you wish.

The survival of my sister after her car accident. Some have also told me that my survival after my car accident would be a "miracle". I don't believe in miracles.
It was just good doctors and personal resiliance/strength.
