I don't think there's a certain age to truly being in love, but when you're older you tend to know about yourself (you've grown up) and now know what you want, and what's good for you (what you need). But take this into thought if you say you're in love you probably are, but how long will it last? I find that people say that you're too young to know what love is because it doesn't last long, though it doesn't mean you're not in love. I think you can fall in love even at 10 years old, but the majority of 10 year olds are not thinking about love, but then again, people tell me that 8 year olds at my old elementary schools (younger sisters of girls that I graduated with) are dating...O_o but it's obvious that, that kind of love is fake.

as you get older you'll realize why. Try and date guys around your own age or no more than 5 yrs older than you.
At last when you turn 25 and your 27 yr old BF is looking at that 17yr old you won't need to ask that one again. He won't be attracted to her Personality. They look at a 17 yr old like a cup-cake with lots of frosting on top. When they finish licking off the icing they usually chunk the rest.

well because the older ones (20-28) have HIGH sex habits, in other words they want sex just as much if not more than the 16-19 year olds. but they can fall in love just the same... i am 19 dating a 26y and we are doing great!! dont let people get you down, dont worry about those things even if people keep bringing it up, just watch your back like you would any other man.... age is only a number as corny as that sounds. :]]

Younger guys and old men are the does go for the same thing. But older men are extremely more experience then a 17 yr old boy. Later on they can trap you, since they are more knowledge and success they can make you do things you wouldnt do. You can easily be blind.

If you are being approached at 17 by anyone over 20, it's for one reason, no matter what he says (or you think).

There's usually a reason they can't find anyone their own age (rejection being at the top of that list).

Don't listen to the loser and find someone close to your own age, you'll be very glad later.

Because the issues in common and the maturity level would perhaps not be enough to sustain a long term relationship. Generalities are just that- but are often fundamentallly based in truth.

Difficult to agree.
An old guy may not want sex as he lack the prowess. just having a kid beside give him enough ego boosting.
But what the girl will do? Will he resort to fingering or hae paid sex from gigolos.
And remember, these sugardaddies in most cases give STD infections to younger girls.
