i kind of know how you feel, i know a guy like that. You should try asking him how he feels about you or tell him you dont want him to use you. Or maybe next time he tries to make a move say, im sorry but i dont feel right going that far with a guy who's just a friend.

i have a "friend" like that -- she only comes around or calls me when she wants something... it's gotten OLD....
if you like the person, but you can't be with them, then you are probably going to be better off in the long run....
eventually, the feelings will subside and you can move on... meanwhile, find things to do which you enjoy, spend time with other friends, and whatever works for you.

How do you know you cannot be with this person? If you know for sure you cannot, you just have to move on. There is no point in waiting for someone who does not feel the same for you.

If you can have the person you are attracted to then you move on until you meet someone with whom the attraction is mutual.

and this person just wants something from you.
and it hurts you.
then be honest.
tell him what you feel.
and he really needs to tell you how he feels.
if you don't do this soon, you will be trapped
in this cycle. you really need to know what he
feels for you. trust me.
