the guys, but a lot of the women avoid me and I think this is the reason. I do an excellent job, and have been promoted. I use this to my advantage...is this wrong..when the other women can't seem to do it.

I don't wear super tight pants to work. I don't think its really appropriate in a work enviroment...

They don't need to be saggy, or anything. But a nice, comfortable fit is what i like

Dressing professionally in any office setting is a must. If you are wearing super-tight pants in a professional atmosphere, then the other women may think it is in bad taste. Of course men do not say anything about it because chances are, they are checking you out all the time.

But consider this: would you rather be valued for your mind and personality, or your body and wardrobe? I would hope, as a woman, that you would rather be valued at your job for what you can contribute to your field. Other people may be viewing you as a shallow person.
If you are doing an excellent job, chances are your tight pants aren't hurting or helping. So to keep peace and show respect for your fellow co-workers, leave the tight pants for the weekends.

As you know, people are jealous. Particularly women being jealous of other women. You can fully expect gossip and controversy to surround you because of this. I've seen it get so bad that groups of women will gang up on the other and try and find ways to get that person (which would be you in this instance) in trouble. Of course the guys don't mind. They are probably all picturing you in your underwear and then taking it off for you. Not trying to be offensive but that's generally the way a mans brain works! I am a man and I wouldn't mind foxy ladies trotting their stuff. On the other hand, some male managers won't take you serious and think you are a dummy and have to wear tight clothes to make it. Others, you can answer 1+1 as 5 and they'll say you deserve a promotion for trying so hard! I would just be weary of doing anything to stir trouble. There are many ways to get ahead. Brown nosing, butt kissing, doing things like coming in 45 minutes early and meeting the boss right at the door of starting time saying I've been looking for you for the last 45 minutes (hint, hint I came in early and I am sucking up to you) and many, many other ways. Some women dress "provocatively". Yes, wearing tight dress pants is kindergarten stuff when you are talking about provactive and going to a club to get your groove on. While at work, wearing tight fitting clothes and showing any sort of skin is as provacative as you can get and will pretty much classify you as a "ho" in other womens eyes as you are pushing the limits of what is allowable and flaunting your goods. Just be careful with whatever decision you make. Just know, people (women) will be out to get you.

I have a few pairs of tight dress pants. They are all flare leg & really long. They are really tight at the top & thru the butt then they flare out nicely. Even with my highest stilettos that I always wear the pants still drag the floor. I wear a tight top/blouse with a fitted blazer that matches the pants. I still look professional yet sexy. I dress sexy for myself & I don't need to look hot to get promoted. My intellect gets me where I wanna go career wise.

All depends on your type of job. If they're so tight you have a camel toe showing all day, I'd say ditch them. Wear something that's comfortable and you feel good in. If your boss doesn't care, I wouldn't worry about it.

If it is OK with you, it is OK with me. I wouldn't have a problem with it.

Don't though be so quick to assume that other women can't do that too. Some choose not too and that is OK too.
