You can't burn DVDs with Windows Media Player. Currently, the most popular program is Ulead's DVD MovieFactory. Making a movie DVD is rather involved. If you want to make a good one, you would need some patience and several blank DVD's (or just use rewrittable ones).

I am not certain what format you are attempting to convert to DVD so I am not certain that is a doable thing. I do know that you will need a DVD burner in order to put anything onto a blank DVD. The key to this is that what ever media you are attempting to burn onto DVD has compatability. That being MP3, MPG, or whatever medium. I dont believe Windows Media has that capability. You would need to have software that either comes with the DVD burner or you could check out software from a company such as Nero perhaps.

As far as I know, Windows Media Player cannot do things like that, If it did, there wouldn't be 1000's of software that do this type of thing for money. Although, There are some alternatives that are free.

You can use http://media-convert.com/ to convert your file into a WIDE variety of different output filetypes.
You can use http://www.protectedsoft.com/ to make your DVD with the free trial.
Personally I use Nero but you'll need to pay for it. There is a trial they offer on their site where you can get full features for a limited time I think.

Hope this helps.
