Muscle weighs more than fat. You've replaced some of the fat in your body with muscle, so you gained weight. But it's good weight, because you're BMI has changed to a healthier zone. You're doing everything right. Don't worry about the weight. It's better to be fit and fat, than to be a skinny couch potato. Keep it up!

Alright, well the first explaination would be that since you are eating healthier and doing some cardio you could be gaining the weight in muscle which is fine... No worries there!
You don't need to be weight training or working out hardcore every day to begin building muscle... The important part is that you are eating better and staying active...
What I may suggest is to mix up your snacks a little... Try having a piece of fruit instead of pretzels (even though they are pretty good for you) and make sure the string cheese is low-fat...
And above all... 5'5" and 127 lbs is perfectly healthy... Don't worry about the # on the scale... Just the way you feel at this point... Thats the part that counts...

Ok if you are loosing inches thats all that matters weight doesnt mean a thing, well shouldnt, muscle weighs more than fat and if you workin out and geting skinnier then weght doesnt mater, your building muscle and geting rid of the fat which is ideal, and you weight doesnt reall sound all that bad, and just eating right doesnt wourk eventualy you dbody will compisate for it and start gaing weight again, exersise is the only way by building muscle you bust you metabolisum actually allowing you to eam even more withoug gaining any weight.

Ok skip the pretzels and nuts. Salt is very bad for your diet. Cheese isn't the greatest thing either. But..you may just be losing inches. At 127 lbs...I wouldn't worry about it too much!! You probably look great!

My friend you are doing every thing just right. The gain is due to the build up of muscle. You are running and exercising so you are gaining muscle.Keep it up and you will be delighted with the results. You know you should add some resistance exercise to your routine. I tell you, You will love the results...

The problem is all the excercise. Its wonderful to excerise but, when you are trying to lose weight it starts turning to muscle.Muscle weighs more than fat.
Make sure you are doing excercise early of morning before you eat.Makes you burn more calories.
when i try to lose i eat 1200 calories a day of anything but stop when i reach 1200....and do treadmill.
I also write down every drink(they had tons of calories)and piece of food entering your mouth.YOu will be suprised.

You are doin an excellent job on your diet..keep up but the reason you are actually gainin weight instead of losing is because u r gainin muscle which weighs more than fat and looks more leaner..so u will actually look more leaner and skinnier and feel your cothes getting loser but at the same time gain weight...because remember MUSCLE WEIGHS MORE THAN FAT..
