I've told them time and time again that I'm single because I choose to be. What's the big deal about being in a relationship..... I don't have the time nor the career to be involved with anyone and I'm happy. So why can't they just accept that fact? Are women really that needy?

Some women are yes- although you sound very independant and hea strong. I would feel the same if my friends kept on about me being with someone.
Each to their own and they can't pack it in go look for other friends. If you are happy 100% then fair play and sod the rest

I agree with you 100%...I am a single mom with two daughters and we are having a great time together. My life is full with my kids, parents, family, work, friends....And for now I have to keep telling people that this is what I want for now ~ maybe for always, who knows?? I find it sad that some people think they HAVE to be in a relationship or something is wrong...I say "you go girlfriend"!!!!

Your friends are probably in relationships that may
appear to make them happy. They are probably just
trying to make you happy like them.
I have the same problem, ive been single for 3 years
and do not really have the time to be fair to someone
in a relationship.

lol I have the same issue. I am happy in a relationship and on my own. I'm cool either way. But yeah, there is nothing worse than your coupled up mates pushing you to have someone. I think your attitude is cool, living your life and if someone comes along, they come along!! Ignore them, they're jealous cos they are stuck with someone and can't be independent!!

Because most people think that if you are single ( for whatever reason ) that you must be wierd or there is something wrong with you.
Just let them to leave you well alone and that if they ever mention or even think about fixing you up again that you wont be friends with them, and that you meant it.

show them that you are happy dont juss say it coz they might have noticed that you say you are happy but dont look happy.
