Get a good grip of the chair with both hands, legs 3 feet away from the chair, and start doing(like push ups)but back wards. Do few sets of 12 a day. It works , and you can do them everywhere.

There is no such thing as "spot reduction". You have to lose weight throughout your entire body. Eat sensibly throughout the day, exercise early, and live a long healthy lean life. Be careful when losing weight. If you do not have enough calories, protein, and fat (yes, fat) in your diet then your body will protect itself by retaining weight. Over exercising will cause the same thing. The more your body does this, the harder it will be to lose weight for the rest of your life. It is possible that you are just fine the way you are. It is possible that if you only increase your cardiovascular exercising that you will lose the fat and gain the tone that you desire.

If you follow 'shiprepairwoman's' advice you will build up your triceps and make them look much better. It will also help your upper arms from wagging after you wave at someone. :)
You should also get on a good safe diet program at the same time. This will help you loose fat all over your body. Then your workout of the upper arms will be replacing fat with muscle.

OK, when you lose weight you cannot say where it is from. There is not miracle exercise that will reduce a body part- no matter what some gurus say- they want you to buy their video. I have found, that toning up my upper arms is very successful. You could use weights, this works well. I go to cardio combat classes. Its a major work out and my arm are looking fab.

Hold a weight like a dumbbell or something behind your neck with both hands and raise it up and down very slow and straight. If you don't have something easy to hold use a plastic bag with some full cans like soup or tuna to get the weight right for you.
This will work your triceps. Do lots of reps but on the first couple of days stop after only a few or you will hurt.
