Older folks should be tested once a year to renew their licences.
This excuse you mention is lame and unthinkably callous.

Not an excuse but it could be the elderly driver's understanding of what happened.

Don't know about the driver's mental state but I do know that if the media can twist words and sell a story ... they will.

No, it is not a valid excuse!

To compare this to other accident causes is just as bad, just because other causes are to blame for more deaths does not make these inexcusable deaths more tolerable.

They will get him off because of his age. You and I may not like it but others (poor thing). That is in public but in private they will think get old bas**** off the road.

They only put it on tv , newspapers and etc etc when it is a senior citizen Drunk drivers kill more people than Senior Citizens drunks are usually between 16 and 25

MORE PEOPLE ARE KILLED BY TEENAGERS AND DRUNK DRIVERS THAN BY ELDERLY PEOPLE.

THIS IS JUST GRAND STANDING AND GETTING FILLER FOR THE NEWS.

IT IS VERY TRAGIC BUT LOOK A THE BIG PICTURE BEFORE YOU LABEL PEOPLE.
