BBC-Nicolas Sarkozy has called for a strong Europe to rebuild a more harmonious world order, in his first foreign policy speech as French president.
Sarkozy said he remained opposed to Turkey's EU membership bid, but said he would not block further negotiations.

The emergence of a "strong Europe as a major player" internationally would help "rebuild a more efficient, fair and harmonious WORLD ORDER," he said.

He said the EU needed strong defence, immigration and environment policies. A committee of 10 experts should be set up to think about what the EU's mission should be
Revelation 13
And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the bsea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his apower, and his seat, and great authority.

It's OK, the beast was Nero (it's spelt out in detail). He's gone now and the Christians took over the Roman empire.

The French president objects to Turkey being in the EU for purely geographical reasons. Why not call it the European and a bit of Asia Union. Then Israel, Iraq and Iran could all join. There'd be too much bureaucracy for any more wars.

That is possible. The ten experts could be the ten horns.
The ten experts could be coming from 10 euro states?
If this is a correct interpretation, then we are about the very end of the 11th hour. We could be living in the 'last one minute" before the return of the saviour Christ Jesus, before the Rapture of the Church, and before the Wrath of God start. Be saved. Ask Christ Jesus for help. Have faith in the Lord. Have faith in God.

I think Sarkozy is trying to establish his credentials as a world statesman, particularly to his home crowd who are torn between wanting to stop Turkish immigration, and expanding the EU.

I think you managed to find a coincidental link on the number 10 (such a rare number to find!) Now how does any of the rest tie into anything to do with the real world?

GW Bush said:
"[The war in Iraq is] a rare opportunity to move toward an historic period of cooperation. Out of these troubled times...
a New World Order can emerge."

So does that make him the Anti-Christ? Or does it just make you deranged?

Wow!!! I hadn't heard the speech. It looks like things are unfolding like our Father said it would. IT is important to pay close attention and be a watchman on the wall, to political people and things because it plays a hugh role in worldwide end time events. I love to watch the Hal Lindsey Report and The Grant Jeffreys prophecy news show. They tell it like it is.

Reading Biblical prophecy today is somewhat identical to reading or listening to the news. Scoffers have no idea what is happening in our world. Prophecy is being fulfilled, just as the Bible predicted. ANYONE with an open mind could see what is happening. 'Watch and pray' is what Jesus told us in the book of Mark. Good admoniton.

Well I make of it that the EU has established a general area of peace throughout most of Europe which has never been seen in recorded history.

I also see that you are willing to twist any news blip into a apocalyptic story.

Are you trying to say that Nicolas Sarkozy is the Antichrist? That's a pretty serious claim, and I think he could probably sue you for slander.

Them Roman Emperors tried conquoring Europe too.
So did that Greek guy. Alexander something. "Conquoring the world" never lasts. True unity will never be found politically because charismatic leaders always die, and their dream does not live too far beyond that.

Do you know how many times you could tailor fit revelation verses to situations? By now, the world should have ended 14 times over!
