Walter Trout is one that comes to mind. There is a kid that plays around Southern Ohio by the name of Scotty Bratcher who is really good. Another guy that isn't exactly like the two you mentioned is Eric Sardinas. He plays some scorching slide stuff on a Dobro that is amazing.
