Villeneuve sounds like he will be awesome. Too bad he is going to be with toyota and not chevrolet (from my perspective)

Hey Beth,
It sounds like it went very well. Here's a link to a story about it that's on nascar.com.

It sounds like he is doing better than expected.

I read it on NASCAR.COM and things look above par for Villineuve. I welcome another fresh foreign face into the sport and hope he achieves all his goals and more. I think it'd be good for the sport if a couple of these foreign cats could come over and win a title or 2 in one of the Top-3 Premier series in NASCAR. I find it flattering that all these drivers are wanting to flock towards NASCAR and the USA.

From what I have read it went great better than expected...I saw him race in F1 when I lived in Europe...I have a feeling he can be alot better than Juan Pablo....Looks like Nascar is becoming the retirement home for past F1 drivers, or they are dying for some real attention and more big $$$.

I'm looking forward to see what he can do. I'd rather see more quality drivers come into the sport to try and break the the whole hire them because their young trend. Let's face it, there are at least a dozen or so drivers out there currently who just aren't ready for the big leagues.

It went well. The only question I have is why he tested at a track that does not even run Craftsman Truck Series races?

I just read on Nascar.com that it went really well.

I am just trying to get up to speed on the Truck races as I go to my first race Sept 22. Looks like fun.
