I like this guy but he lives like two states away from me. I think about an 8hr car ride away from where I live. I don't have his e-mail (I want it) and I only get to see him once a year? But I want his e-mail now! Will I have to wait?

For my point of view, yeah you will have to wait. But my belief is that if you really want something then you'll figure out a way to get it.

You should have gotten his email, sn and phone number when you could have. I guess now you'll have to wait because driving 8 hours to see him might seem a little...weird, if you know what I mean.

Settle down, psycho. You should have asked for it when he was around, but since you didn't you'll have to find another point of contact. Who was he staying with? They'll probably either have it or know how to get it.
