This is a hard decision, any advice?

I am a junior in High School. I have 2 longtime friends. Ive been great friends with both of them since childhood. Let me tell you about the first one. I've known her sine I was like 2. We've always been great friends. In the 8th grade we kinda talked about ogin out, but that was the 8th grade. We've both grown up alot since then, and I'm and she is both lookin for something serious. She says she likes me alot, but she also likes this other guy, too. She can't make up her mind, but I think i'm slowyl winning her over, this morning she gave me one of her cheerleading pics to keep in my wallet.

The other girl
I've known since I was 5. We have always been great friends, last summer , I fell in love with her. She said she didnt want to mess up a good thing, ( or friendship), and she said she hadn't thought of me like that. So its now a year later, and I still like her, but I know right now I can't have her. Were' really close, and litterally like best friends.

We are exteremely close now. We talk almost every day, and I know I can trust her with anything, and her the same with me.

But she's gotta bf, of 8 months. Who happens to be one of my x good friends, they started dating around the time I liked her, he kinda took her from me.

Anyways. should I pick girl number one, who I like a great deal. I enjoy being with her, and hanging out with her


or girl # 2 ..who I like so much, and really enjoy her company. I feel like we can talk about anything.

But I don't really have an option, cuz number 2 has a boyfriend.

But if I were to date number 1, and something were to open up with number 2, i dk what I would do .. any advice.?

So what exactly is the question here? Are you picking between friends or potential girlfriends ('cause it sounds to me like neither is wanting to date you right now).

Stay only friends with girl #1 if your real interest is girl #2. Even if opportunity with girl #2 never opens up, it will be better not to take a chance on hurting girl #1, seems like you would be using her. Maybe not intentionally, but it pretty much amounts to same thing if your wanting and waiting on girl #2. Btw...there are more than 2 girls in the world, so if your really wanting to date...maybe girl #3 (the casual date, nothing serious) is your best option right now.

its like this dont be with #1 or#2 because yall are friends, very close friends and you really dont want anything to come between that do you? dating friend can really change a relationship if it dont work out, but if you must then i still say neither becuse #2 already told you that she just want to be your friend and she wants to keep you as a friend plus she has a bf and you know it. that is the end for #2. now for #1 i say leave it alone because you only like her as a friend and she is second best in your eyes. that is not fair to her. you would have been her bf if you didnt think that it could be somehting between girl2. so let it be just as that friend between all of yall. i know that there are more girls out ther for you to choose from and you will still have girl1 and girl to in your life. you are a junior and soon you might go away to gollege and meet someone new. just relax and enjoy your two good friends as friends.

okay man ...you need to really think about the question I am about to ask...see first of all there should be no number two girl...she should be number one and if she would so choose to be with someone else doesnt mean for you to wait...I promise I know what it is like to like a girl that isnt or/ doesnt want to be with you rite now...see you could very well be her comfort zone and she will keep you strung along for years...if you think I dont know what Im talking about take a look at my question...almost the same thing...so if she says she cares but there is someone else then my friend you should move on dont make your second choice feel as if you settled for her because you had to...if you like her as well as the other girl then maybe you should try to talk to her and see if you like her for some of the same qualities...listen , dont put your life on hold for someone to feel out the options...you deserve to be treated good for your heart...no exceptions...I know how hard it is to stay at the freindship barrier/good luck, and never have more than one girl...there is nothing cool about a bad reputation.

Nothing is going to open up with number 2. She already explained she doesn't like you that way and trust me, it's probably won't change anytime soon. To be honest I don't even know if I would go with #1. I mean...if I were you I would want a girl who KNOWS she likes me, not someone I have to win over or jump through hoops for. Just my opinion...go with the one that makes you happy.

Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. One of them, if not both, will come to you. You shouldn't have to fight for it. BUT if you and the 2nd girl are like best friends, I think you should leave that one alone. I think you'd have a better turnout with the first one.

it hard to tell, cause i dont know either of them. from the sounds of it, things arent going to happen with number two. if you and number two were so close wouldnt she realize how much it hurt you her getting with an old good friend.

i say number one is the way to go, and just forget about number two as a girlfriend.

plus you said you know number one likes you like that anyways.

Hmmm.I'd wait for the other girl to come around.Do you still feel the same for her?Maybe she just needs some convincing.Take her to see a movie or something.Or she could just see you as family since you've known each other so long.idk.
