I've an excel work sheet with lot of data.

I want to select particular data only.

For example I need to select data A1 to C40435

How can I do this task simply without using mouse right key?

It's very simple. Just name the range.

Select the range. Then in the top left corner of Excel there is a little white box called the Name Box. Normally if you select an individual cell, it will display the cell name in it. So if you had your curser in cell D3, it would display D3. If you place your mouse over the box a little yellow message should appear that says Name Box.

After you select your range. Click that box and enter a name that you'll remember for the range. Then hit the enter key. That names that range of cells.

If you ever want to select that entire range later. All you have to do is click the little grey arrow to the right of the Name box and select that name from the drop-down list.

You can name the cell range by highlighting the desired cells and then typing a name for the range into the name box. This is the space just above the letter A for column A in a blank workbook (looks like a drop down selection).
Once it is named you can use this drop down to select it, and you can reference it in a query by name as well.

click on A1 then scroll down to C40435. Hold the Shift key down and left click C40435.
Use the above method for selecting random blocks. If you only want the above block selected over and over then highlight as above then name the range clicking Insert/name/define. Now when you want that block selected just do edit/goto and choose this range.
