While in Japan, It was early morning at the train station and I was hungry for something to eat. So I purchased a cup of coffee and a filled donut. Unlike the American donut, I took a bite and it was a curry bean filling. It was gross and unexpected.
Another one I have had was ballout (Korea) which is a chicken embryo inside the shell and it is baked over charcoals for many hours. It was bad enough to look at yet alone trying to eat it.

My dad used to make Pizza eggs when I was little - He would cut up left over pizza from the night before and scramble it in to eggs in the morning. It tastes great, but it is a little unusual.

Having sliced fresh tomatoes with scrambled eggs and bacon like they have in England. It was refreshing and tasty
too. But that's as close as I go to having one of their traditional breakfasts, since they like that blood pudding
sausage stuff, that sounds just too nasty to try. And that's if
I could find it in my grocery store. Needless to say, I haven't
looked very hard.

When I worked in Japan I use to have a bowl of hot rice, with a fermented soya bean paste called NATTO with a raw egg on top, natto is a fermented soya bean it looks like baked beans in slime, a traditional Japanese breakfast food, like sushi is to, when I worked in Jamaica, like one of the other respondants I had ackee and codfish some days, but I liked the barley porridge, a bit like oatmeal, a bit chewier and served up with condensed milk and molasses, to sweet now for me.
