i meant no disrespect, but why i don't hear Christians praises the God in heavens more than they praise Jesus, i hear you thanking Jesus more than thanking God in heaven, why is that? isn't He the one who created you?

and especially that Jesus said:

john 14:28 reads--
" .......BECAUSE THE FATHER IS GREATER THAN I AM"

John 8:54
Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:

John 7:16
Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me

John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

I praise and pray to Jesus who is Father in Heaven. Jesus died for us to save us. Jesus went through torure more than we will ever know. Yes Jesus's Father in Heaven is God but so is Jesus. Jesus is a miracle to me. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't even be here. There is no way I could live my life without him. Jesus is my Father, Friend, the Love of my life and husband. I am here because God our Lord Jesus created me and he loves me uncondionally, regardless what I ahve done in my life and look like. He doesn't judge me. And I love King David Father of Jesus just the same.

I really suggest you talk to a Christian Pastor with your question so you will understand because apparently you don't. I would be very careful on how you talk about Jesus. King David's son of God. You making it sound that Jesus is a not good enough to pray too.

Because you don't understand who Jesus is, you ask this question. I am saying with all sincerity that Jesus is none other than the Most High God.

If you want a view of him then turn to Daniel 7 and read about Him. Also, ask yourself what Jesus meant when He said,
John 5:39
"Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me."

You have to recognize who it is that you are talking about in order to understand!

We Catholics praise and refer to all persons of the triune God pretty much equally. Devotion to the Holy Spirit was more common 50 years ago, but we still reference the Spirit.

If you come to one of our Masses, you will see this to be the case.

Many christians do elevate Christ above God, which is obviously wrong. It's probably because they can understand Jesus more, as He was a human man, so we can empathize with Him more. That's not saying its right, just trying to explain why so many put God in the background.

Jay is incorrect, we were instructed by Christ to pray directly to God, not to Jesus and not in His name. "Our Father which art in heaven".......

I honor God, I pray to Him "in Jesus Name" and that is what we supposed to do, the bible is very clear on that. And if you look at the fact , that God is in three persons : God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. But they are really one person=God.

Trinity - they are all one in the same, yet different. All things were created THROUGH Christ, don't forget.
