Ok, i don't know if some people are serious or just being ignorant, please don't bash, i know i asked for words that sound funny to you but you have to be kidding me, Faith, Worship, Jesus. etc. These are not laughable words that sound funny. Please don't be ignorant but lets be mature.

I think that the word "doodoo" sounds funny when it comes from an adult's mouth, because it sounds so childish!

My wife uses the word Dweeb or Dweeb Head often around here. Always in a humorous way of course.
The word Afflack just makes me want to go duck hunting, he he he !!!
We won't discuss the word pewney, we could have fun with that one.
You might rebuke me for foolish jesting.

I always have to stifle a snicker whenever I hear Homo erectus. Is that immature?

I find place names like Paducah and Cucamonga funny.

I also find it funny when words sound dirty but are not, like masticate.

orthostatic hypotension

That's the dizzy feeling you get when you stand up too fast. Had problems with it when I was a kid, and laughed so hard when the doctor diagnosed it, I almost got kicked out of his office.

Buttered toast, for one. But I do like "smashed potatoes", and words that I make up to better describe what they mean.
Like "punchicate", the act of punching. "Re-celerate", after slowing down, you then speed up again, or re-celerate. The act of washing clothes is, "washication." Right now I am,
"computerating." And "keyboarderizing" my words. Etc.

I have no idea why, but the word "ergo" always makes me snicker.

And yes, I do have friends who are pompous enough to use the word "ergo" as part of their vocabulary.

One word that always makes me laugh is bafoon. Coincidentally in another language i know, namely Japanese, it means horse droppings.

In addition terminology from my phonetics class used creatively:
voiced aspirated bilabial fricative meaning a f*rt.
