... and were in love (as well as me being very attractive) and what if I was a firefighter and got burned in a HORRIBLE fire. My body did not suffer any real damage, but my face was burned severely, the tissue on my face completely just disfigured. Would you stay with me and stick by me? Or leave me?

The leave could be at anytime, but has to be because of the damage done to my face.

You could change, too. I mean personality-wise. I don't think most are capable of truly realizing what it's like not to have the face you grew up with.
Skin is an achille's heal of mine. I dated a guy who had dry, brittle hair, a limp b/c of a crooked spine and was underweight. The only reason I agreed to go out with him was b/c I thought he would know a lot about computers and I was having trouble with mine. Turned out, he was (good w/computers) but he has been my only long-term relationship.
So, I can 'look past appearances' but whether or not I'd stick around depends on how you would react. The skin thing would probably force me to deal with my issues.

I would not leave you because of the damage to your face. I might, however leave you because of the possible PTS that could develop because of that, or a hypersensitive attitude that blamed that thing for everything else wrong with your life. If your personality and psyche stayed the same, no I would not.

I'd stay.
