I posted this question under spirits because I always hear people pick out distinct flavors when tasting wine. I've heard oak, butter, chocolate and even leather. Or when tasting beer, some can taste the hops ect. Dr. Pepper claims to have a blend of 23 flavors. What do you taste?

Sugar and high fructose corn syrup only.

Excessive sugar dulls the presence of other flavors. This is the reason that sweet wines are better as cocktails than with meals. I have heard that there are 23 ingredients in Dr. Pepper, but all I can taste is sugar.
