Well, since it's you, Rachel, we can talk.
Charles Darwin was the GrandMaster ot the Atheistic Order of the Rainbow Dusk, which is secretly a satanic order trying to install a world government with the Illuminati and also a drinking club. Mostly a drinking club.
We have been trying to implant false fossils and make up theories about radioactive decay so we could "date" those "fossils" just to lure away christians from their churches (haw! haw! haw!, my friend Jack Chick would say).
We had a next step in mind but then we got totally hammered and I lost the agenda during our last secret meeting.
If anyone can find it, send it back to me. There might be a little puke on it and I am quite sure it's been scribbled on the tag of a Grey Goose Vodka bottle.
Thank you.

The Athenda is as complex as its "members". A few of the most important tenets (in the US) are:
1) The health and welfare of the SC&C (separation of church and state). The long term goal includes undoing mistakes made during the Cold War.
2) The protection of the Rights of the Individual (often expressed as protecting the Constitution and especially the Bill of Rights). This one is often a balancing act, a very dynamic balance. Not only do the RotI need to be protected from extremists that believe that their religion should be everyone's religion, but it must also be protected from extremists that believe so strongly that religion is detrimental that they want it removed (a small but significant faction of Atheists). Protection of the RotI is often subtle like the loss of privacy supposedly excused by the need to "protect" individuals from terrorist (extreme religious) attack.
3) Pursuing Equal Rights for all citizens including prejudice against LACK of religion. Many states still have laws against Atheists holding public office and other similar inequalities.
A significant portion of the members do not even know they are members; this is one of its greatest weaknesses. Most Atheists are not part of any organized faction but do recognize the need to pursue the above tenets once they have been outlined. Many are disinterested or even see a danger in organizing (becoming like a top heavy “organized” religion or political party) and prefer to not be a part of a movement. Despite this it is important to motivate all Atheists to be ready to vote or even act when their way of life is threatened (like a militia of private citizenry).
ADD: The Athenda is not the same as the Gaygenda nor the Pagenda. Though they are significantly different they do agree on the above three tenets.

Generally speaking, there is none. Certain atheists or groups of atheists are percieved as being anti-religious, and are said to have an anti-christian 'agenda' which they propagate through using science to discredit the bible and other religious doctrines and beliefs. This may be true in certain cases but usually atheists steer clear of religion, and dont try to impose their views on others.
The comment you quoted was probably an attempt by a religious person to discredit Evolution by a) linking it with atheism, and b) framing it as being part of an 'agenda'.

It seems to me from previous postings that atheists are convinced that religion is the cause of countless deaths throughout history and that is mostly why they are against it. Just to mention the deaths caused by the atheist Stalin and others of his kind shows the dubiousness of that argument. Plus the fact that most deaths caused by religion were mostly political rather than religious. The fallacy that religious believers cannot believe in evolution is mostly untrue, except for the fundamentalists. Personally I am agnostic and cannot rule out the existence of a Creator, and let's face it, neither can the atheists.

More than anything, I want to be "That guy" in Infomercials. You know, the one who's hopelessly inept at doing whatever simple task the product is supposed to make simpler. Usually appearing in black and white, and opening a cupboard to a massive explosion of tupperware; only to flounder comically and flail about like a Republican forced to choose between Romney and Gulliani. This person then turns to the camera, with a shitfaced half grin, and shrugs his shoulders much to the chagrin of his disaproving wife or children. That's gonna be ME. I'll corner the market in that, and every infomercial you're going to see the same guy unable to do even the simplest tasks. But Wonder-Mop (tm) will save me!

The person's just ingnorant. I know for a fact that Catholics teach evolution theory in their schools. I know Muslims who believe in evolution too. To say that evolution is an atheist agenda is completely off.
Some people just don't know when to quit, do they?

The meeting is next week, on Friday - it's gonna be a whine and cheese night. Bruce is putting the motion that we should drop the term 'agenda' and use the more trendy phrase of 'meme warfare'. Be there or be square!

As much as I am against religion I am against atheists too because they have churches....WTF???? Their agenda is probably similar to the gay agenda; Get Kathy Lee to host every morning talk show ever. For atheists it would probably be something like the Gorton's Fisherman.

It would seem from that statement that anything that goes counter to creationist's agenda is an atheist agenda.
Yeah, I think they have secret meetings......inside their own minds.

Atheists are all individuals with their own agendas. We are not organized into a group with a list of certain criteria that we all must believe or agree on.
