He will of course appoint those who share his mentality to important posts. As I-run and Ipek said, he will be the puppet of AKp and now and then he will veto some laws as a show to give the impression that he is not just a puppet, then people will praise him for doing this, etc etc.
He will keep his "I embrace you all" bs wearing his plastic fake smile. And some people will look at him and say "What a humble person he is, look at him"
Not my president either. My president left Çankaya today.
They're preparing a new constitution, we'll see what they have in mind and maybe then military might intervene. I don't really have a prediction about army stepping in. We'll have to wait and see.

I just imagined millions of people going to the Cankaya and protesting him, not allowing him to get in...He isn't suitable for this post, which should reflect the fundamental principles of Turkey. I agree that he'll be the private notary of RTE and AKP. On the other hand, they bribe some parts of the public.
We really need a strong opposition party. Otherwise some people'll see everything through rose-coluored classes. Just like frogs, they'll not recognise the danger.

Yes Ma'm!!
ahem... He will be the puppet of RTE and AKP, that's what is going to happen.
Nothing will happen to Turkey since - thank God- there are still millions of people who understands their trick.
Expect lots of protests against their politics in the coming moths.
The military wont step in until they try to change the unchangeable law : " Turkey is a Republic and this law is closed to voting and any changes"
If AKP and the Parliamenters of it are at least a little smart, they wont attempt it.

Ihope that Gul will prove himself a honest and peace-loving president for the benefit of his people and those of the whole region. "Peace at home, peace in the world". Otherwhise, especialy if the army gets involved, there is a great risk of a coup, or worse of a Civil War like that in Spain in 1936-1939

He will be the noter of Çankaya.
He comes from the tarikat mentality. In a tarikat, what the sheikh says is the rule. RTE rules AKP, but I really don't know who rules RTE.
I just hope marrying 15 year old CHILDREN to 30 year old ADULTS does not become fashionable in those circles. It is gross! And a violation of the children's rights to grow up and have an education!

Nothing will happen to Turkiye although USA and some others will it so. Because for 53 percent of Turkiye the only president we will take as an example will always be Ataturk.
And i am sure that in 47 percent there are still the ones who will understand sooner or later that voting for AKP was a mistake.
