Although I'm inclined to believe that Rick Joyner IS a false prophet, I must respectfully disagree with those dear fellow believers who dogmatically assert that the prophetic office among the church has ceased for today. Where does it specifically say so in THE BIBLE, please, my friends in Christ ?

There may very well be MANY false prophets among the professing church today, but that does not mean that there are no TRUE prophets of God left.

1 Corinthians 13:10 DOES NOT relate to the establishment of the canon of scripture, dear friends.

He is a plague that is hurting the church. He teaches compromise and he doesn't point people to the work Jesus did on the cross. He is a very powerful and influential man that has enticed ministers from all Christian faiths to substitute psychology, and works for the completed work of the cross of Jesus.Im sorry I was thinking of RICK WARREN.

there are no Prophets - yes he is
google

Rick Joyner, Who is he?
Joyner is associated with the Kansas City Prophets (Paul Cain, Bob Jones, ... to the Latter Rain teachings of Trinity-denying heretic William Branham. ...

and remember to always ask WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY? when asking questions - Hear the word of God -

REVELATION 19
9And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

10And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

I do believe people CAN and DO speak words of very Divine truth in conversation - I have experienced this and usually it is a word of comfort or a rebuke (because I have been behaving like a jerk) but as Joyner was tied up with Paul Cain he should have a huge warning sign above his head. Bless you and may the Spirit of Truth lead you into ALL truth. We do not and must not put our trust in men or their teachings if they contradict Scripture.

I had not heard of him til now, nor have I heard of anyone he is said by other answerer's to associate with. But, since I don't actually know EVERYBODY who preaches, I checked out his site. I read his prophesies. This is not how God speaks to us- His Children. Throughout the Old Testament, God declares judgment upon the world, , but promises preservation for His People.
Now, I know nothing of his teaching, but from seeing his prophesies- I have to say he is not a true prophet of God

Does he teach repentence, baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins? Does he teach the infilling of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in an unknown language? This is how the Apostles built the Church and gained converts. If it isn't done this way, then yes, he is a false prophet.

All prophets are false if they claim that they're speaking the words of a non-existant god.

Why I'm listening to "the final quest" as I type this. I've been experiencing spiritual attacks in the night, and I started playing his vision of trips to heaven on repeat while I've slept. I've slept much better since I've started doing this, and his visions have also totally altered my way of thinking about this life and the next and given me more incentive to draw closer to God. There's been fruit in my life and I believe he's for real.

Yes.

1) There are no more apostles
2) He said certain things would happen at certain times, and they never happened
3) He's a "leader" in the dominionist theology, which is unchristian heresy.

I don't have desire nor time to look up every detail about these things, so you do it please. But these are the facts.
