Many people I knew had jobs throughout Grade 11 and some threw Grade 10. I never got one and only now it's before my last year of school (Grade 12) that I am searching for one. And my mom said the process can take months. How am I going to afford post-secondary education with so little time to work? Have I waited too long?

Well, if you had gotten a job earlier you'd have had more savings, but you still have time to find one and get some money saved for school. The type of job you'd be looking for as a student probably won't take as long to find as the type of job adults tend to look for.

Good luck.

you could always take a gap year,in which for the 1st year after you leave highschool you work full time then after that 1 year you should have enough cash for a post secondry education.
