yes, it is supplying your body with much needed vitamins and is hydrating your body as well. Soda pop does not provide hydration and it causes many health problems as well as the extra calories.
I would advise you to also drink mineral water every day as this provides the body with the minerals that are needed to absorb vitamins.

Certainly drinking more water in a day is always going to be a healthier choice than a soda, or caffinated drink. However, there are always those in marketing who want to create the next best thing. Vitamin water does provide some, some, additional benefits over regular water. But, the fact that the vitamins are in a fluid form and most likely have been in the bottle for more than a few weeks before you consume it lends to the notion that not much of the vitamins are getting to your system. Plus you are probably going to more likely pass the minut amount of nutrients anyways before they are absorbed. My suggestion is to not waste your money on fancy water. Just incorporate healthy foods, especially vegetables, into your daily regiment and you will increase the nutrients and vitamins your body needs and takes in.
Also in order to lose weight, you need to eat. You need to eat frequently, control your portions, and make wise food choices. Exercising 3-5x a week as well will go a long way to helping you lose weight. Good Luck!

Vitamin water, is just that. Water plus vitamins, so yes, these are good for you. Just be careful which flavored water you are drinking. Some are just sugars and color additives which doesn't really add anything 'healthy' to the water. Power aid and the one brand that is called "Vitamin Water" are good. Just check the label on the back of the bottle. This will tell you exactly which vitamins have been added to the water. Stay away from any drink that has the work "Fructose" or "glucose" or any work containing '..cose' in it in the ingredients, since this is just another word for sugar!

Vitamins in the water may not be as nutritious as the vitamins in food. My main concern is that, biochemically, the vitamins in the water may behave differently in the body than vitamins that naturally occur in foods from nature, such as apples or broccoli. Due to a biochemical quirk called synergy, when a food's vitamins and minerals are packaged together, they help one another absorb into the bloodstream more efficiently and function better throughout the body. When, for example, vitamins C and E are eaten together in a food, such as a green leafy vegetable like spinach, the health effect on the body is much greater than when the vitamins are consumed individually as, say, vitamin C in vitamin water. In short, food gives you the whole package of nutrients. Vitamin water gives just a few vitamins and may not be nearly as effective the same ones eaten in foods.

I LOVE that flavor, I drink it all the time. Anything is better than soda!!! Drink that and water. You are making a great decision by cutting out soda. Just compare labels and you will see how much sugar is in soda, vs Vitamin water. Big difference.

Yeah, of course they're better than drinking soda but not as healthy as drinking regular bottled water or vitamin water. You want to loose weight...stay away from the sugar!!!!
Invest in Evian if you want water with vitamins in it.

I think both soda and vitamin water would be hard on your tooth enamel. Plain water is healthiest.

Read the label. That stuff is just as bad as soda calorie wise.
