Sweetie, you could climb right up on his lap with sticky fingers and cookie crumbs and he wouldn't mind at all. No worries. Your prayers are always sweet to him.

as long as you wash the cookie down with a glass of milk afterward. if you cant drink milk, then drink some juice. what kind of cookie, by the way?
as for the prayers, keep saying them if you feel better after saying them, but dont expect anything else.

You, my Little Innocent, are music to the Lord's ear. He asked that we all come to Him as little children, so I say you are right in line with His will. Do have some milk, and don't forget to brush your teeth before you go down for your nap.

When babies and young children eat, chew, and pray at the same time Jesus hears them. Jesus hears their thoughts telepathically, especially Children and babies because they are so cute, and not understand, especially with food running down their chin.

Yes, sweet little grandbaby. Jesus knows your heart...and that you are thankful for your cookie. He just likes for you to tell Him, even with your mouth full.
