Most parents tell their children that and most of those parents actually believe it because they love you and you are their daughter. The important question is do you feel beautiful? If you did then you would take their comments as fact instead of questioning whether they are just trying to make you feel better. I would believe them. And enjoy having parents who care about you and want you to have self confidence.

Well, I'm sure to them you are beautiful. I once saw some movie where a girl was frustrated by her father telling her she was beautiful when she felt like she wasn't. But then at some point she realized that she looked like and reminded him of her mother. To him, her mother was beautiful in part because of the person she was, so her daughter was also beautiful to him. I found that interesting.

Anyway, I figure parents always see beauty in their children. However, my father refuses to tell me I'm beautiful. He never did when I was growing up, and when I went home for Christmas this last year, I asked him about it, and he still refused to say I was pretty. So feel lucky that your parents will tell you even if it is a lie. If your own parents can't say it, then maybe there really is something wrong.

all parents see their children or teens as being the most beautiful. even if other do not think so. but too, I have learned that most females do not see themselves as being beautiful when they are. the best way to find this out, if you think something like this is to. do a little test, to find out.

( this was done in a small school ) A few girls did this in our class one year. they wrote up a list of names in the class. then wrote at the top of the pages. this will be fun. then they put all the names of boys on one page. a page with all girls names. then wrote: check, the names of the girls you think are pretty. do not sign your name if you do not want too. but there was a place to sign if you did want too. at the bottom of the page. they also wrote this same message on the page for the girls to chose the best looking boys. then made copies of these.

after words. the pages were handed out. to the class. this was meant to work in more than one way. in this way boys that did like a girl but was to embarrassed to tell them, had their chance to do so, same for a girl that was shy and did not know how to show they cared. also, not only will the girls know that there was not one girl in class that was not thought of as not being pretty, but they also found out which boys liked which girls. what is so funny, is that every boy and every girl signed the paper at the bottom of the page. so others may see who they really liked. this made everyone happy threw out the year.

all of this was done behind the Teachers back. if not the papers would have been taken away.

I know this sounds crazy, what can I say. we had some crazy girls in our school.

But this can be a good way to find out, for sure, how beautiful you are. plus get you a boyfriend, at the same time.

Take Care,
and have fun.

In the eyes of a parent, there is no child more beautiful than their own, no matter what they look like. Always remember that. Parents do not see the flaws in their children the way outsiders do. If your parents say you are beautiful, it is because in their eyes...you are...and you are lucky to have parents who praise you like that. I make sure I tell my kids every day how beautiful they are...despite what they think of themselves.

Every parent thinks their own children are beautiful. The more they tell you and you actually believe it, the less likely you are to go looking for validation elsewhere. Believe them. It is one of the best things you can do for yourself.

Everyone is beautiful in there own way, some ways are just more obvious than others. How do you feel you look? That's what matters. If you think you are ugly then you are, If you think you are beautiful then you are..

Your parents get used to your looks. and if you look like them (ish) then they'll be used to their looks. so they're going to think you're beautiful. But everyone is beautiful in their own way. and some people may think you're beautiful, some may not, it's all about finding your match :)

To your parents, and anybody that loves you, you will always be beautiful.
Hopefully, your parents see beauty that comes from inside, not just pretty features.
If you make sure that beauty is always inside you, you will always be beautiful.
