Why is the media lying us into another war?

So, Iran has Weapons of Mass Destruction, or so the Government's lapdogs in the media claim. Just like Iraq had Weapons of Mass Destruction (or not). Ahmadeinejad is gonna be another Hitler, just like Saddam was gonna be another Hitler. They'll welcome us with open arms, just like in Iraq.

The leaders of Great Britain (Gordon "Poodle" Brown) and France (Nicholas "The Fascist" Sarkozy) have announced their support for this war of aggression (doesn't it count as an act of state-sponsored terrorism?). Bush intends to attack Iran soon to "prevent" a non-existant nuclear weapons program (source: http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/014918.html ).

We've heard these lies before. Why is the media telling them again and why do they think that the American people are gullible enough to believe them? Why is Bush once again promoting wars that will incite more terrorism and weaken our national defense?

Ahmadinejad never said anything about wanting to kill Jews. That quote was a mistranslation done for purposes of promoting war by extremists (Neo-Cons and Israeli fanatics).

What in the world have you been smoking? You need to sober up and read the releases fro IRAN -- saying that they're working on a "Muslim Bomb", and speeches from Iran's Prime Minister announcing that they are going to use it to incinerate Israel and all Jews around the world.

at the moment they don't know what to do about the situation and are trying to kind of keep it under the rug for the time being, trust me, this situation we are in right now hasn't happened since the cuban missile crisis, all i am saying you all know the USA doesn't back down, and Russia has now made it very clear that they are back rebuilt from the cold war and they are ready to fight, russia knows damn well we wouldn't approve of this, Russia is trying to kill some of the USA credibility for what we do in Iraq. quite frankly they are right but that does not mean we will sit and watch and back down world war 3 is coming the Iranian president said a few months ago that an attack on Iran would be painful, anyone thinking about a biological virus, kills all clean the bodies and the buildings left intact a cure and a disease are you kidding me, the USA has the most powerful military in the world, and these people do not care and are sticking it to us. balls they have a plan, you better believe that and in the end it all goes BOOM

I don't believe the media is lying about getting us into another war, but Bush and Cheney are certainly pushing the agenda.

War with Iran would be a disaster for the U.S., but it would take the focus off the calamity of Iraq.

I want anyone who pushes for war with Iran, to stand up, under oath, before Congress, and present their evidence of why war with Iran is needed. ( Remember, it's a felony to lie under oath before Congress)

Put up or shutup. And I don't mean grainy photos of serial numbers on weapons, or quotes from unnmaned government sources. Make them all testify under oath.

Before the war with Iraq, the Cheney's listed their annual income in their IRS return as about 160,000/year. Last year they had an income of about 850,000/year!

He's making it off the blood of our soldiers, and since it was considered illegal for our VP to own stock in a contractor for Iraq, Cheney sold all his Halliburton stock to his wife. Good way to get around the law and ethics, isn't it?

Meanwhile, our soldiers continue to die, while living off Foodstamps, and the corporation buddies of Bush make record profits...all because the GOP led congress voted against a bill that would've outlawed war profiteering.

In previous wars, it was considered treason to make a profit on the war effort, but not with this new breed of neo-cons. They embrace it.

After the lies and manipulated intelligence by this administration to get us into Iraq, it's a wonder to me why any sane American believes a single word that comes out of their mouths?!

I'm believing the questions in here that are so anti-America are the infiltration of Muslim extremists. Why else would the questions be so stupid. Here is fact: Up until US forces landed in Iraq, there was a constant stream of material into Syria. Fact: Iran is led by a crazy man who wants to nuke Israel. Look at memri.org and watch the actual things on tv in Syria, Iran, Saudi, etc.. Learn your facts, this is the best protection against propoganda...
