Unfortunally, you will have to wear the earrings in for the entire 6 wks. If not, they will continue to close up on you and your ears will not heal as fast. The best thing to do is if you MUST take them out, cut a small piece of straw out and burn it at both ends and place it in the whole to ensure that it will not close, but place your earring back in your ear ASAP!
Also, do not use rubbing alcohol on your earrings. This dries your ears up and also delays the healing process. Use the solution that was given to you when you had your ears pierced.

With any small wound like that I find Methylated spirits really effective for drying up and healing. Just put it on the part that is going through the ear and slide it back and forward a bit to work the metho. throught the hole. I would do this twice a day to keep the germs away and help it dry up. If there is any pus you will need to see a Doctor to get an antibiotic cream or something similar. Also, you may just have to leave them out for a period if they are not healing. Better to have healthy ears than a continuing infection. Check also with the people who did it. They may have another type of earing which is less likely to cause reaction!

It takes upto a year for ear piercing to fully heal. Try making a saline solution with warm water (8 oz.) and sea salt (a little less than 1/4 tea spoon). Regular salt turns your ears blue from the iodine. Hold this against your ear for a minute or two twice a day. The longer, the better as long as the water isn't getting cold.
Taking your piercing out so soon after they're pierced is a bad idea. They're going to be hard to heal up correctly, but with proper care you'll be fine. Either leave them in or take them out.

You actually shouldn't have removed the earrings at all. They needed to stay in for 1 to 2 months so they could heal properly.
Put the earrings back in and don't take them out again. You need to clean your ears daily, and make sure you do a good job. Regular soap and water is fine, but make sure you rinse all the soap off.
You also want to reduce how much you touch your ears. This is just to make sure you don't get any dirt or bacteria up there, which can slow down the healing process.
It's really that simple. After a month or two of continually wearing the earrings you should be able to take them out without them closing up on you.

I'm not real sure what you mean by 'dry up in the middle' but when you say 'blocked up' I think I know what you mean-your ear ring seems to go into your ear a little bit but doesn't want to go through the back side. I had the same problem. I wore my ear rings as long as I was suppose to and after a day or so of wearing regular ear rings, they wouldn't go through my ears. This is what I did: Put your studs back into your ears-even though it will hurt (I had to pop mine through my ears and it hurt so bad a cried)-but make sure your studs are CLEAN(use peroxide). Then put some neosporin on the part of your ear ring that goes into your ear. KEEP THEM CLEAN.
If they still don't clear up, I would make a doctors appointment.

When young I ended up having my primary holes pierced 3 times.
The first time I listened to idiots and used hydrogen peroxide, a year later my holes would still close up if I removed my earrings for one day.
The second time I listened to the piercer and bought the worthless solution they sold, again after a year my holes would close up if the earrings were removed for a short time.
The third time I took matters into my own hands and used rubbing alcohol. Lo and behold my holes "cured" in a couple months and now, 25 years later, I can go for weeks and months without wearing earrings and the holes have not closed completely!
Use rubbing alcohol to completely clean and cure the piercings.
Good luck

You have to be patient. Keep them in for 10 weeks just in case. Dont take them out until then and always remember to put solution around them to keep them clean.

Have you been using alcohol to clean your ears? If not, you should apply alcohol to ear lobes and also to your ear ring posts. Keep applying alcohol until it heals the lobes.
