I was at the store yesterday, and on TV Guide on the Front Page, it stated Rated X in Prime Time! What happened to the days of the "Cosby Show" or "Full House" and other family type shows being free on the major networks that you could access w/ just an antenna? Networks used to fight to have the best family show, now, most of the major networks are loaded w/ crap =(... You have to pay to have cable or dish to get decent family shows, even then, there are not many family shows anymore unless they are re-runs. What is happening here to our world?

I totally agree girl! I'm disapointed too. Kids are being bombarded with sex and crazy lifestyles these days. As if it's not hard enough being a parent w/o having to fight the tv too. I use to like CSI, but all it is anymore is half dressed women, and don't get me started on Hardee's (Carl Jr.) commercials. I won't even eat there anymore.

My god if the worst thing in your life is what is on tv, then count your blessings. Hon, you control the tv, not the other way around. Turn it off, unplug it and donate it to charity. Read a book, take a walk or donate your time to a youth group.
Oh and back when there were the 3 channels and the antenna's, there were still complaints about decency, which is why on the I love Lucy show, she could not say she was pregnant and had to change the bedroom to twin beds instead of a double. Times have changed but there are still people like you who think you need to tell everyone else how to live their lives.

I agree with you. I am so sick of watching television that is based on gorgeous women with big boobs sticking out all over the place. The last thing we need is rated X shows on prime time tv. I'm sure my husband will love it but it will make me sick. There are no family shows anymore. The tv has become so overrun with these stupid reality shows now. I can't stand them. It just goes to show you how poor our moral fiber really is and this is the future for our kids. How sad.

The world is evolving and rather you have to pay for it or not...there are family shows available and there are smut shows. There is something for everyone and everyone has their own interest and television SHOULD provide all these interests. I watch ALL types of show and I'm happy to have access to all the types of shows that interest me.

its all about money. man whats going on can we stop it. no don't think so. we have to make the best of it. and give it the best we can. life is to short & nuts now days. all the good times no more. its the money thing
