This will be my first year of doing this and wondering if anyone knows of suggestions? How about how long does fish stay if the fridge.

I have a food saver and use it for all my fish. By vac packing I've kept fish over 12 mos. and eaten them, couldn't tell the difference between 1 mo. & 1 year. For the frig., I work in a seafood market. We keep fish for 3 to 5 days depending on species before they start to degrade. We do keep on ice, so it helps to prolong life. Catfish is lean, so in the bottom of your frig., even not on ice, I feel you can get 3 days and be safe. Keep fish covered, will help to prolong life and keep it from drying out.
