No. IMPOSSIBLE! You can undercook it, however. If it comes out tough, you have under cooked it.
Start the crockpot in the morning, let the meat cook on low for 5 hours, on LOW, along with your other ingredients.
This is a tenderloin, not a beef roast. Pork cooks faster than beef, and is more tender. 8 hours is too long. Measure the timing for your husbands arrival home, or the time he likes to eat. Best of luck, and Happy Cooking.
PS the only way to over-cook a pork tenderloin, is if you leave it cooking so long, it breaks apart, and you end up with mush, and a dried out crockpot! But that would take longer than you seem to be wanting to leave your crockpot on! LOL!
Thumbs-up to TinyDancer. She said it as well, as I.

*************PORK LOIN ROAST
For use in a crock pot. Can be adapted for use in any slow cooker. 2 env. onion cup-of-soup mix 1 env. cream of mushroom cup-of-soup mix 1/2 c. water
Combine soup mixes. Thoroughly coat entire surface of meat with soup mix combination. Pour water into removable liner. Cover and cook on High for 4 to 5 hours; low 8 to 10 hours.
If you don't have these seasoning I like to use a can of diet coke just pour on roast and salt, pepper and a dash or two of worchestershire sauce. I have found in the past if you cook to long your meat will fall apart when removing from the crock pot. I would start your meal at 3 pm and cook on high until meat is done and then place on warm and serve when you hubby comes home.

I believe that one can over-cook pork tenderloin in a crock pot. I always believed that with this cut of meat and cooking method, the pork would continue to get more tender with longer cooking times. I thought that cooking too long might result in pork mush. However, my recent cooking flop with pork tenderloin in a crock pot taught me otherwise. First, how can anyone screw up pork tenderloin in a crock pot? Well, I surely did and I am very upset with myself for ruining & wasting such a nice piece of meat. (My dog, however, has been very happy lately.)
At about 11 pm one night recently, I placed my pork tenderloin and the additional ingredients in my crock pot and turned it on to the high setting. Early the next morning, I planned to turn the crock pot off but left for work without doing so. To make a long story shorter, I didn t return home that day until 10 pm. Therefore, my meat cooked on high for 23 hours! I expected pork mush but to my surprise the pork looked as though it had been nicely and well browned in a frying pan and maintained its form very well. Also, almost none of the original amount of liquid had evaporated so the meat was well hydrated. I thought that I was in for a treat - nicely browned tenderloin that would melt in my mouth. Instead, the meat was very, very dry, stringy, tough as shoe leather (You could chew the meat indefinitely without it going down. You had to make a conscious effort to painfully swallow the meat in your mouth) and to top it off, the meat had an unpleasant burnt taste that seemed to linger in one s mouth until you brushed your teeth and, even then, that taste didn t completely disappear.
I am a single father with three kids who tries to provide my family with healthy meals on a regular basis and I generally cook good, satisfying meals that my kids like. But this meal will go down in infamy in the minds of my kids.

You can't burn anything in the crockpot so long as there is adequate liquid. If you'll have the tenderloin in there for a very long time, cook it on low rather than high.
I've only found that the meat gets more tender with time in a slow cooker.
