Praying the 5 days are obligatory and completing them is an accomplishment, but being able to make the Sunnah prayers and even Nafl (voluntary) prayers is an additional acheivement.
Having kids running around can make it difficult to make your salat on time or as perfect as it could be, but this is our personal Jihad (struggle) to give Allah His due rights.
I'm a mother of three, and having recently given birth to my 3rd child, I find that my most peaceful time is making Salatul Fajr (dawn prayer) because all the kids are asleep and I can just enjoy the peace and quiet. I feel very close to my Lord at that time, because I am able to take my time and focus on everyword of the prayer.
Having a baby is a blessing in many ways ..... for one, she guarantees I am never late for making salatul Fajr. I don't need to set the alarm, because she always seems to wake up before, so I can change her, feed her and then go and make salat, alhamdulillah.

Not only the 5 times prayer. There are different kind of prayers in Islam where I can be near to Allah. I feel at my best whenever I do them. No words can describe the peaceful feeling I felt within.

I am a Muslim.
I normally don't have time to pray five times a day. I pray when I have time, and yes, I do have a soothing feeling.
Its difficult to describe that feeling. No idea where it comes from.

[19:58] These are some of the prophets whom GOD blessed. They were chosen from among the descendants of Adam, and the descendants of those whom we carried with Noah, and the descendants of Abraham and Israel, and from among those whom we guided and selected. When the revelations of the Most Gracious are recited to them, they fall prostrate, weeping.
Losing the Contact Prayers (Salat)
[19:59] After them, He substituted generations who lost the Contact Prayers (Salat), and pursued their lusts. They will suffer the consequences.
[19:60] Only those who repent, believe, and lead a righteous life will enter Paradise, without the least injustice.
[19:61] The gardens of Eden await them, as promised by the Most Gracious for those who worship Him, even in privacy. Certainly, His promise must come to pass.
[19:62] They will not hear any nonsense therein; only peace. They receive their provisions therein, day and night.
[19:63] Such is Paradise; we grant it to those among our servants who are righteous.

To: Otfourteen. Who told you that we believe in Holy wars or Wars are holy in Islam? You speak without proof and don't feel any shame?
Post your proof and we shall reply accordingly.

it extremely is counseled that persons of the muslim faith pray at specific situations yet they're allowed to desire at distinctive situations if mandatory. the situations are unfolded throughout the time of the day so the typical practitioner, thus, ought to determine his/her schedule schedule around the prayer situations.

Islam is probably the worst expression of religion on this earth. The very idea of a religion borne out of a tendency to dominate (through highly objectionable means at times) is highly repulsive. Islam believed and continues to believe that war is holy. If war is holy than what is left to be unholy?
If Islamic mullahs have their way, world would probably be steeped in medieveal anarchy of the worst kind.
It is very difficult to see how somebody claiming to be an adherent of such religion can even claim to talk about peace.
