All thing are possible, some are easier than others. If there isn't a neg/pos switch on the radio I would rate this at a difficulty level of 6 on a scale of 1-10. (10 is f*****g impossible)You would need to open the radio up and make sure that every bit of the electronics was isolated from the casing and then change the feed wires over. Also some of the components might have to be removed and replaced reversed. Really much easier to get a new unit

Take the back of the set off and there may be a switch inside,to alter the polarity or the wires inside need to be altered ,there may be a diagram on the inside of the cover Obviously your car will have to be positive earth for this to work .Up until about mid to late 1960,s most cars were positive earth so when negative earth came in ,we had to alter polarity on some radio,s

You would need to insulate the radio from any thing metal and bring a negative and positive to the set to do thisI dont think its possible because the ariel will be negative earthed through the bodywork.
