Lets get one thing right first. Man DID NOT CAUSE global warming. It's a natural event that happens every so many tens of million years. We do add to it, sure, so lets do our bit to keep it clean. No guilt trips though.

Change is always a bit exciting. I remember my father saying how pleased he was to leave his office job to join the Air Force during World War II. He still had nightmares 30 years later.
Global warming is a fascinating challenge because it pits our intellect against our actions.
The science showed clearly in the late 1980s that global warming was happening but there was strong opposition from business interests, especially the oil and motor companies and their "paid for" institutes and spokespeople. The US government has now finally agreed that global warming is occurring and the global media are now adopting this viewpoint. The battle between nearly all the scientific institutions in the world and the oil interests was exciting. The scientists lost because the time for action was 20 years ago. The victors were US big business interests who fought a brilliant campaign.
So, what will the victors do with their laurels? In the US the standard technique is to blame victims for their afflictions and so the approach that will be adopted by the victors is to blame you and me. We will have to do lots of tricky little things to give us the impression that we are all working towards "defeating global warming" when in fact nothing will be done. This will not be exciting, it will be irritating, but it is pure genius. It will give the self righteous plenty of opportunity to condemn their neighbours for incorrectly sorting their rubbish - if you are self righteous that will be exciting (but pointless, see reference below).
The Americans and Russians know that on balance climate change will be neutral or to their advantage, it will make the climate in the northern states more equable. They also know that India, China and the middle east will be devastated so minimising the military and economic threat from these countries. Remember, the US and Russia always operate in their narrow national interest. The devastation of India, China and the middle east may create a lot of trouble, it may be exciting to begin with but nightmares may follow.
Overall the most interesting feature of the global warming debate is how the scientists have lost it over and over again leaving us permanently 20 years too late for any actions. Even now people are acting as if it were the 1980s and are busy debating how to stop what has already happened!

If your question is intended to be taken seriously you are showing an abysmal lack of intelligence and understanding of the issues involved.
I don't know where you live but since this is Answers UK and Ireland I'll assume you live somewhere in the UK.
Firstly, if global warming is actually taking place the maximum projected overall annual average temperature rise over the next hundred years is not likely to exceed 5°C. That does not mean that every month will be 5° hotter, or even that the UK will average a 5° temperature rise. It means that the overall average GLOBAL temperature is unlikely to rise by more than that. so I don't think you'll be wearing your shorts very often in December anytime soon. In actual fact, temperatures in the UK are predicted by many authorities to fall due to the effect it will have on the Gulf Stream.
Secondly, if Global averages rise anywhere near that amount, sea levels will rise by anything up to 50 feet or more which means many low level areas of the world will be under water. Just in case that 50 foot rise doesn't directly affect you, where do you think all the displaced people in this country and abroad are going to end up and where do you think they're going to find the farmland to produce enough food on?
If you want to bury your head in the sand and scoff at the idea of Global warming even though the vast bulk of informed scientific opinion is firmly of the opinion that it is taking place, that's your choice, but at least try and raise intelligent points.

It happens so slowly that it is hard to notice. There will be no massive flooding, perhaps a 10-15 foot rise over decades. That give us time to move or put buildings on stilts or build dikes. Check sea levels during the Holocene period right after the end of the Ice Age through to today, much of that time was much warmer than today. Algore is full of bull puckey and lies with such sincerity as he lines his pockets with cash.
Orange groves in Cornwall would be nice.

Don't get too excited. Although I agree there is climate change, I believe it's a natural one. After all there has been climate change from the year dot. Mans hand in climate change is about 2%. We are told by governments it's man made so they can get more stealth tax out of us.
Go back to sleep, the excitment will pass.

Whats exciting about the fact that in years to come : land will be lost ( including homes, lives) due to the fact that the sea level is rising due to global warming.
Wildlife is all messed up cos there are no seasons anymore. Which increases diseases and chance of extinction.
Vegetation and Plant life will be lost due to extreme weather conditions. Every year people die in extreme heat.
Again what is exciting about this? Yes, you may be able to go to work in your shorts, but is it worth the consequences for everybody else. Your ignorance and attitude are mind boggling. The reason we are having global warming in the first place is due to ignorance and a lack of consideration for others.

Lots of people think that global warming is good because they think the cold weather is slowly vanishing. But actually it causes lot of other problems. Places like India, China Africa, the temeprature is getting higher and higher. If they think that they cant do anything to prevent the hot weather condition, they may ask help of other countries and they cant ignore it. It will cause to reduce the facilities that we get in countries like UK, Amercia etc. well, that is not only the problem. When the global warming increase the hole on the ozone layer is increasing. The biggest problem with that is it gives cancer to a lot of people.

There nothing exciting about it? We should act on saving our earth on your opinion what are the best way to prevent global warming.. We all know big things come from small... Almost all of us feel it the heatwave, deadly tornado, destructive earthquake, huge flood... Lets give knowledge to other how to prevent global warming share your knowledge here
We can do are very simple and yet so profound, things like switching to toilet paper made of 100% recycled paper, using re-usable and refillable mugs instead of disposable cups, switching light bulbs to fluorescents, and for back to school, buying notebook paper made of recycled paper and refillable pens instead of disposables. Also, eating organic food and wearing organic clothing prevents the use of pesticides that poison people and the Planet and that use a lot of oil in their production. It also prevents the transportation of all those pesticides from place to place. Using public transportation is another simple measure. Storms and the floods are getting harsher and more violent. action should be taken to reduce or reverse future warming or to adapt to its expected consequences. Most national governments have signed and ratified the Kyoto Protocol, aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Be lucky and have a nice evening day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It won't be exciting when you and the rest of the world are faced with about a fourth of a billion of climate refugees and are fighting wars not over oil and money, but for arable land, fresh water, and land with suitable conditions.
