No dont worry its just hidden genes passed down from your parents and grandparents

Babies hair colour often change as they get older. This might still happen with your baby. After all, she is still only 4 months. Are there any family members on either side of the family with dark hair including great grandparents. Hair colour is determined by your genes. Even though you and your husband have light hair, you might still carry the gene for dark hair.

Hope this helps. Don't worry, just enjoy Lilianna - especially as she must now be becoming really responsive to you. It's a fun time that goes so quickly. Relax and have fun.

Chances are her hair will lighten up as she grows. I was born with dark, dark brown hair and it turned pale blond when I was a toddler. It was light brown by kindergarten and got darker (to about a medium shade now) as I got older.

My 2 year old was born with beautiful dark brown hair, pretty curly tufts. Last summer it grew out blond, totally out of the blue. I had to cut off all the brown. Her hair is still blond and shows no signs of darkening any time soon.

It could be any number of things plus you have to remember baby hair is fine and may fall out. I know mine did and was bald for about six months. In terms of the color of you baby's hair - my boyfriend had light brown hair until about eight - the problem is that his is Native American and should have black or extremely dark hair. He is 32 with dark brown hair now and no, his mom did not dye his hair.

Also, children don't grow into their selves for awhile. Children of color have blues eyes and light skin when born but don't take on those qualities for some time (you look at the ears of your baby to determine their final skin color) and no they don't keep their blue eyes.

It is very possible and ok. Maybe someone in ur aunts family had red hair same as your uncle. My son has strawberry blonde hair and both my husband and I have brown hair. I have a tint of natural red though. But on both sides of our family our siblings were born with blonde hair. Its all based on genes. So honestly no I do not think that your aunt cheated on your uncle.

It is completely normal for kids to have different coloured hair from a recessive gene. My best friend, her mum and her dad all have really dark hair, yet her brother is nearly white blonde!

I bet she loses it later on and regrows a lighter shade. (by lose it I mean it just grows out from the root and the sun will lighten it too.)

Don't worry about it! Anyone in the family with dark hair? Ask you mum who had dark hair.

Your and your husbands have been exposed to teh sun and "bleached" that way. Hers will probably lighten as she grows and begins to play outside. My now 16 month old was born with hair such a dark brown it was almost black, but is now a beutiful reddish brown with definate blonde highlights.

Hair colour in babys change very quickly, its just naturally adjusting to the world, it may go lighter, if anyone in your family has blond hair then it may go as light as blond

its just family genes. both my hubby and i have brown hair and our daughter is a red hair and our son blond. he is slowing going dark tho so will end up brown. our daughter tho got her red hair from somewhere in the genes on both family's as it is in both family's. so dont worry bout it nothing is wrong just because she has different hair colour from u and hubby.
