If a GIRL is interested in a GUY, what would she do?
assuming you dont know him and you are a shy girl and wont make the first move..
1) stare at him and when he looks in your direction, pause for a moment then quickly look away
2) look at him and smile
3) look at him and laugh with you girlfriend who happens to know that you like him
4) look somewhere else when you know he is around
5) move physically closer to him
if others, pls state
i think there is a girl in school who likes me but sometimes when she sees me, she laughs with her girlfriend. is this normal? of course, she also does the things that i mention above

I'm 49 and have always found the guy who looks keen but isn' too pushy, who makes me feel I'm a cut above the rest - the one i'm going to be interested in ,......
If youre interested in this girl then smile back - look a little shy yourself ..... take it one step at a time - and not too fast!....
Move slightly closer, a bit at a time, until you're within speaking distance of each other .... say 'hi' and smile - see if she responds .... then take it from there !!

Sorry Bud, I am not female, but I can tell you that all of the things listed are possible things a girl would do if she was interested in you.
Now, keep in mind, there is a chance that she is not interested in you the way you want her to be; however, it's obvious she is paying attention.
The only way to know if she's into you is to approach her and get her away from her giggling friend. Say something. Funny, stupid, smart, it doesn't matter. If she's into you, she'll laugh or at least give you a smile for trying. If she does either one, you're in.
If she doesn't even give you a smile, she could be real nervous or not a very nice person, in both cases, I say split, unless you feel like working on her nerves, but who needs that headache?

I think that she may be possibly interested in you.
The way you described how she acts around you,
when she sees you, I would say she likes you.
I think that you should approach her.
You might regret not making the first move and years later think about what could have been.

It's perfectly normal if she's shy then she will quietly try to get your attention if she laughs with her friend then she just nervous when you look in her direction try talking to her you've got nothing to loose

You are thinking way too hard. She doesn't like you and if she did, what difference does it make? Stop wasting time thinking so hard about signals that you cannot trust anyway.
