Oh my god - on the name of JESUS - I say no lie.
It was the Portuguese who was significantly involved in creating the first Tamil Bible in the ancient Tamil Country. Thier fist Tamil tribe was the PARAVAS Tamil people
The exact depiction from an encyclopedia ::
The Tamil Bible, 'Cardila', was printed in 1554 and made Tamil the first language into print for any Indian language. This was even before the first printing machine arrived Goa, India in 1556. Cardila was printed at Lisbon by the command of the Portuguese government with the motivation by the visits of three Paravars Vincent Nasareth, Joj Kavalko and Thomas Cruz from Tuticorin, India to Portugal. The funding for the press came from the Parvar community .
Kindly dont lie on such matter , if you don't know stay away
refer this: ( the first Tamil community or first Indian community to embrace Christianity)

Corruption has become part of the equation in India. As an Indian I am ashamed to admit it but it is a reality. People like you can make a big difference in this mess. When you have corrupt politicians, what do you expect from police? When you have corrupted police, what do you expect from teachers? In short, the whole country has accepted practice of corruption. That is the reason I had left that country. My children are born and educated in a foreign country. I would like them to settle in India and use their education in making India shine. At present only thing shines in India is MONEY. There is no value of a human. In western world human life is considered more important than money. Would any one with a right mind encourage their kids to move back to India? If we learn to operate the country as a big corporation, will anybody hire a person without education? The laws need to be changed that will make a person eligible to serve as a Member of Parliament or Lok Sabha if they have acquired a degree from a legitimate university. Now a days all you see is actors and mostly uneducated criminals running the country. There are some exceptions but majority is unacceptable. I wish I have an answer to this question. We are also creating bad image in the world by sending people overseas who don't know how to groom, dress or hairs sticking out of their ears and nose. We copy lots of bad things from western world, why cant we copy good things? Overall I am as frusterated as you are.

The Bible was translated first in TAMIL an Indian language -
as per the excepts from -http://www.hindu.com/thehindu/2001/10/02/stories/1302017e.htm It may not be an exaggeration to state that the story of the translation of the Bible and its publication is also the story of the Indian languages and the history of printing in India. In this connection we cannot but recall that the great missionary, Bartholomew Ziegenbalg, who landed in Tranquebar in the beginning of the 17th century, did the very first translation of the Bible into any Indian language in Tamil. -

It is obviously TAMIL – In India it is the Tamil civilization which is one of the most up-front traditions with up to date developments.
Some of the very early Christian prayers dating back to the second and third century is in Tamil : It was written in palm leaf
refer:: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Christian_prayers_in_tamil_on_palm_leaves.jpg
And the earliest full version Bible was also in Tamil : Refer here

Don't know.
But want to tell that bible is true. When I didnt know that God really existed, I was bored to read it.
But recently God led me wonderfully which I have written here,
http://www.protectinghands.com/ladder_to_heaven.htm
and then now I am sure, that God created us.
I was wonderering why God should sent His son to die to show His love. Then while cleaning a plate yesterday, my son's old shirt was nearby, I just took it and cleaned the plate. I felt bit bad because that shirt looks nice on my son. Then I remembered, God who created us knows what will clean the sin/evil deeds and desires in us and make it pure. And it was His precious Son Jesus' blood.
..the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. 1 John 1:7
I just remembered, maybe tamil(my native language) because Thomas, Jesus' desciple had come to Tamil Nadu.
